About Edward & Maxine
Ed and Maxine live in South Carolina, where Ed was CEO of Vanguard Global Network for 18 years, which equipped the world’s pastors to fulfill the Great Commission. Prior to coming to Vanguard, Ed was a church-planting pastor for 22 years in California and Pennsylvania.
Ed and Maxine attended Capernwray Bible School in England (1970). Ed got his B.A. in Bible from Christian Heritage College (1973) and M.Div. from Grace Seminary in Indiana (1977). Later, Ed received his D.Min. from Westminster Theological Seminary in Escondido, CA (2002).
They have served Christ in several countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America.
They have 6 grown children and 13 grandchildren. They’re passionate about discipleship and planting disciple-making churches, and are excited about the opportunity to serve the Lord with Global Training Network.
