About Eric & Patty
Eric & Patty Lowdermilk have been training men and women for ministry since 1996. Eric served as Associate Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies and Coordinator of the Orlando Ministry Program at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Orlando, Florida from 2015-2022. Prior to this, he worked 19 years in student affairs at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri and Palm Beach Atlantic University’s West Palm Beach campus, also teaching college ministry students part-time.
He has presented educational workshops at national and regional conferences on redemptive Biblical discipline and on Biblical narrative (stories). In scholarly studies, he has presented on Narrative Criticism, Genesis, the Gospel of John, diminutives in Koine Greek, and the Revival at Yale college in 1802.
His college-level teaching includes the Meta-narrative of Scripture, Old Testament, New Testament, Christian Worldview & Engaging Culture, Introduction to Christian Ministry, Interpreting the Bible, Biblical Narrative, and Beginning & Intermediate Biblical Greek. He has authored in student affairs, inner-city youth ministry, and biblical studies.
He and Patty have three children—JonLuc, Rachel, and William—as well as a growing number of grandchildren. Eric enjoys reading pirate stories to his grandchildren, camping, and backpacking. Patty enjoys her grandkids, sewing (and comfortable hotel rooms while Eric is out hiking!).
