About Jim & Cheryl
Jim and Cheryl Warner have been ministering together internationally for over 20 years. Together they have led over 50 short-term mission teams to Kenya, Morocco, China, Haiti and Jamaica. For the past 12 years, Jim and Cheryl have served on the staff of CRU assigned to the ministry, Global Aid Network. For the past 3 years they have lived and ministered in Haiti. They joined Global Training Network in June of 2014.
Jim and Cheryl have 5 daughters and 4 grandchildren. Their two oldest daughters are married so they finally have 2 sons!
After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Global Aid Network started sending teams to help with the recovery. Jim and Cheryl were asked to relocate to Haiti and for three years living on a ministry compound just outside of Port-au-Prince. During that time, they led nearly 20 teams conducting vision clinics, water purification projects and general construction. Cheryl also started a ministry teaching women how to make and sell crafts to support their families. Jim conducted a monthly conference for 100 local pastors. They also served the National Director of Campus Crusade for Christ in Haiti, Esperandieu Pierre and his wife Dianne.
Cheryl will continue her ministry with women. Jim will be training pastors addressing personal character issues, leadership principles and the study skills required to be a successful pastor.
