About Rick & Debbie
Pastor Rick and Debbie have served the Lord for over 42 years in full-time ministry, while also tending to the needs of two businesses for 20 years.
Rick has served as a janitor, bus director, children’s director, teacher, nursery worker, worship leader, youth pastor, camp director, counselor, associate pastor, turn-around pastor, church recovery pastor, and senior lead pastor.
He currently serves as the Church Health Consultant and Coach for Venture Church Network Southwest, an association of churches desiring to make a gospel impact in Arizona and the world.
Rick is also a leadership training coach with the John Maxwell Team of leadership coaches.
Rick and Debbie both graduated from Liberty University. Debbie has a degree in Elementary Education that has enabled her to serve in teaching K-3rd graders for over 18 years. Rick graduated with a Master’s degree from Liberty Seminary with a Theology and Leadership emphasis.
Rick and Debbie served the people of Grace Bible Fellowship in Yuma, Arizona for 23 years as Lead Pastor, guiding the church to a global reach and passion. The people of Grace Bible Fellowship served the world on 40 short-term mission teams in 10 years, had a book published in Sri Lanka, and established a ministry in Jordan to Syrian Refugees. Rick has served in various countries while pastoring at Grace, including Guatemala, Sri Lanka, UAE, Rwanda, Mexico, and Native American populations in the USA, all of which involved service and training of indigenous leaders. Upon Rick’s resignation, he passed the mantle of leadership to another leader and the ministry continues today with a wonderful grace outreach to its community.
Since 2017, Rick and Debbie have served on staff as missionaries with Global Training Network, training pastors and church leaders in the Majority World.
Rick and Debbie were married in June of 1981 and have three grown children, who are all serving the Lord. They also fostered two young ladies for 3 ½ years, whom they consider to be their children as well. They are loving the opportunity to spend time babysitting and caring for their new grandchildren when not overseas serving the Lord.
Rick and Debbie are passionate about empowering God’s people and churches to move forward in health, discipleship, and leadership development so that the Kingdom of God moves forward around the world with power. They are thrilled to continue serving the Lord around the world in this chapter of their ministry service.
