Paul Madson

Founder & President

After spending 25 years in the pastorate, Paul and Lisa felt God’s compelling call to help equip and encourage the younger generation of pastors and leaders in those parts of the world that have the least access to biblical and theological training. This call prompted them to start Global Training Network in the summer of 2004. Paul’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministries from Arizona Christian University, a Master of Divinity degree in Ministerial Studies from Western Seminary and work on his Doctorate at Phoenix Seminary. Paul and Lisa currently live in Peoria, Arizona.

Joel Madson

Vice President

Before joining the ministry of GTN in 2006, Joel was a pastor for 21 years, the majority of which were spent serving on staff at Overlake Christian Church in Redmond, Washington. He has traveled to over 30 countries for the purpose of training and encouraging pastors. Joel is married to Kathy, and they live in Seattle, Washington.

Michael Temple

Chairman of the Board / Independent Voting Member

A board member since 2004, Michael is an engineer in the aeronautics industry. He is active in the world of missions, involved in developing strategies to multiply the gospel in India, passionate in building up and supporting GTN staff, and engaged in equipping Christians to fulfill their role world evangelism. He is married to Lisa, and they live in Weatherford, Texas.

Bruce Beyeler

Secretary / Independent Voting Member

Bruce joined the GTN board in 2004. He currently works for a small software company focused on utilizing open-source software in government applications. He previously worked developing applications, consulting, and training engineers in the automotive, aerospace, telecommunications, and defense industries. His passion for global missions work has taken him to Mexico, Ukraine, India and Uganda. He is married to Christie and they live in Glendale, Arizona.

Brian Mee

Independent Voting Member

Brian joined the GTN Board in 2013. He is the Chief Business Officer for the Pendergast ESD and has over 28 years of school business experience. Prior to Pendergast, he served as President at the national level for the Association of School Businesses Officials International. He also teaches school budget and finance classes for the Arizona Association of School Business Officials. He received his Masters in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Brian is married to Colleen and they live in Goodyear, AZ.

Harold "Perry" Harris

Independent Voting Member

A board member since 2004, Perry worked in the residential real estate market for thirty-four years before retiring in 2001. Perry’s passion for ministry then led him to begin attending Fuller Seminary, where he pursued a Master’s degree in Christian Development and Pastoral Care. Perry was also passionate about the global ministry of the church, which took him on numerous trips to Africa, India and Mexico. He is married to Jeanette and they live in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

Ron Amstutz

Independent Voting Member

Ron joined the GTN Board in 2017. He is the Executive Vice President for Desert Financial Credit Union and has over 35 years of financial and technology experience. Prior to Desert Financial, he served as a senior level executive at four other credit unions in Indiana and South Carolina. His leadership has helped raise over $6 million dollars for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals over the past 20 years. Ron is married to Zona and they live in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
