T3 (Train-The-Trainers) Proven Practices with GTN staff member Craig Parro
3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 21st - 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22nd
We all love 2 Timothy 2:2…no argument there. But, actually developing & leading a ministry of multiplication in a cross-cultural setting… whew, it’s tough!
Fortunately, GTN staff have developed effective T3 (Train-The-Trainers) models. Over the past year, Craig Parro has interviewed several as part of his T3 Zoom Café series.
The result? A distillation of T3 Proven Practices field-tested by some of our most experienced trainers, including Linus Morris, Phil Graf, Jim Baugh, Richard Spencer, Tom Shedd, Bego & Larry Meeker, Carl Green, Joel Madson, and Abby & Doug Vinez.
We have compiled these T3 Proven Practices into an 8-hour Elevate workshop immediately following the 2027 Leadership Gathering. If you are pursuing a T3 model or want to know how to get started, this is a must-be-there event!
WORKSHOP CONTENT
Several of our most experienced GTN trainers will be sharing both lessons learned and mistakes made. (It’s always better to learn from others’ mistakes, right?) You’ll quickly discover that GTN uses different approaches to T3… there’s no single “right” model. Yet, there are similar questions that we all face. Together, we’ll be exploring…
· How do we keep multiplication at the center of our training process?
· Who makes for a good T3 global partner? What should we look for?
· How do we recruit those with high potential to become effective trainers?? What qualities should we look for?
· How then do we help them become effective trainers? What’s that process look like?
· How do we make our training more transferable? In what ways might our curriculum be made more transferable?
· How do we help ensure that the multiplication is sustainable? What’s the appropriate role of Western $$$?
Bring your own T3 questions and challenges to this highly engaging workshop. Our prayer is that the LORD will use this time to shape your ministry so that 2 Timothy 2:2 becomes an even fuller reality, to the glory of God.
