AUXILIARY EVENTS AFTER THE LG:
1) Soul Care Seminar led by GTN staff members Dr. Hud and Nancy McWilliams
3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22nd - 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23rd
Dr. Hud and Nancy McWilliams will be leading our staff in a workshop designed to help us slow down and tend to the needs of our own hearts. This seminar is interactive, with breaks and meals provided on campus at the FRC.
2) ELEVATE Your Global Partners: Ways to Choose, Empower and Love Your Partners led by GTN staff member Craig Parro
3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22nd - 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23rd
Global partners are our lifeblood. Our ministry can’t happen without them. Capable & committed partners are key to sustainable, long-term transformation.
This workshop will explore all things related to our global partnerships. How do we choose the right partners? How do we ensure alignment? In what ways might we best help them (without hurting them)? What is the proper role of Western money in our partnership? How does our role as Western trainers change as they take greater ownership for the ministry? After graduation, what roles might we continue to play?
This workshop will draw upon the experience of several GTN staff that have had years of experience with their global partners. We’ll explore the good, the bad, and the ugly of global partnerships, while recognizing that their success is our success. Join us, as together, we learn ways to deepen our partnerships to better serve the global Church.
