About Bill & Cindi
Bill and Cindi have been married for 26 years and have four adult children and 12 grandchildren. Bill graduated from Biola University. He studied at Talbot Theological and Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, before entering the pastoral ministry for nearly thirty years. Cindi attended Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS.
Bill and Cindi joined GTN in 2009. Before joining GTN, Bill had trained church leaders in India, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Brazil, and Chile. Since joining GTN, they continue training pastors and church leaders in Uganda, Rwanda, and the D.R. of Congo. They began with twenty students in Uganda and twenty students in Rwanda. From 2009 to 2019, by God’s grace, they will have seen nearly 1,000 graduates from three countries.
Bill travels to Africa three times a year, works with two African leadership teams, all who have graduated from the program. He also has mentored two country coordinators and seeks the advice of an Advisory Board in Grant. Planting new churches is an exciting focus of this ministry.
Cindi is an elementary teacher in a Christian school in Grant, NE. She has traveled in the summer to Uganda and has had an effective ministry with pastors’ wives. She and Bill have held marriage conferences together. She continues to be very involved with an orphanage ministry in Uganda established by the local church they attend in Grant, NE. In Africa, she is affectionally known as “Mama Cindi.”
When not in Africa, Bill and Cindi make their home in Grant, NE. They enjoy living in this small Midwest farming community. They also enjoy worshipping, fellowship, and serving when asked in the Grant E-Free Church.
