According to NPR, Nepal currently has the fastest growth rate of Christianity (percentage wise) of any nation on earth. Operation World highlights Leadership Training as the most urgent need in the Nepali Church. There is a massive training shortfall here, with mostly bi-vocational pastors in need of instruction on multiple areas of doctrine and biblical counsel. GTN has been invited to provide our 3-year training curriculum to the 90% of all Nepali village pastors scattered throughout 70 provinces.
This process will take 6-7 years to complete. The total cost to see 90% of Nepal’s pastors reached with sound theological and biblical training is $2.75 million.
