About Richard & Jayne
Richard grew up as the son of an Air Force officer and was frequently on the move, living in Pennsylvania, Florida, Japan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, California, Thailand, Ohio, and finally found his way to Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and then graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master’s in Theology.
Jayne grew up mostly in the mountain states, her dad working for the U.S. Forest Service. While in college, her parents joined Wycliffe Bible Translators to serve in the area of leadership development. Jayne works at Baylor-Carrollton in the Medical Laboratory.
Together they have three grown children. Joel graduated the U.V.A Law School, worked at a major law firm in Washington DC and now for a major Financial Firm. Brent graduated from the Air Force Academy, was a C-17 pilot, and now flies for Delta. He and his wife have two boys and one girl. Jessica graduated from the University of Texas and works as a professional structural engineer for an International Architecture firm. She and her husband have one son.
Richard has been involved in full-time pastoral ministry in Idaho, Kansas, Washington, Minnesota, and Texas, both as a lead pastor and associate pastor focusing on small group ministry, men’s ministry, adult education, and other areas of ministry as well.
Richard is passionate about life and ministry, both in the United States and abroad. Having lived five years in Asia growing up, he has committed himself to building healthy churches by training pastors and ministry leaders in the majority world.
