About Carol Denny
arol Denny (LM, CPM) is Founder/President of Global Health Training, which joined with Global Justice Mission in January 2012 to increase the effectiveness of her ministry. In 1997, Carol founded her own practice as a midwife in the state of Arizona, and years later, became passionate about caring for poor women and babies around the world.
In 2004, she founded the non-profit corporation “Global Health Training” (formerly known as “Helping Mothers & Babies Incorporated”). GHT’s focus is on teaching healthcare with the purpose of improving maternal and neonatal outcomes. Their heart is to train Christian leaders so that they can be equipped to share the love of Christ in their community through their ministry to mothers. Carol has traveled to Mexico, Honduras, Uganda and India teaching healthcare and looks forward to more training in the future with Global Justice Mission.
Carol has been married for 28 years, has 8 children, and 5 grandchildren. She is a licensed midwife in the state of Arizona and a Certified Childbirth Educator. Since beginning her own practice in 1997, she has delivered over 600 babies.
