About Craig & Louise
Craig and his wife, Louise, have been married since 1978 and reside in Chicago, Illinois. They have two adult children and three grandchildren.
Craig joins GTN with a passion to strengthen and encourage the GTN staff and to help them further develop their “train-the-trainers” strategies (2 Timothy 2:2) so that GTN might equip more pastors even more effectively, for the glory of Christ and His Church among the nations.
Craig joined Leadership Resources (now WordPartners) in 1989 as its first International Director, helping develop its nonformal pastoral training emphasis on biblical exposition. He became President in 2010 and served in that role for 11 years. WordPartners’ passion is to equip and encourage pastors around the world to teach God’s Word with God’s heart. They and their partners serve throughout the Americas, Africa, Eurasia, and the South Pacific.
Craig has authored articles appearing in several magazines including, What Really Happens When We Train Leaders? He is also co-author of the book Finishing Well in Life and Ministry: God’s Protection from Burnout.
Prior to joining Leadership Resources, Craig spent 15 years at Market Facts Inc., a survey research company based in Chicago. He progressed through the company to the position of Vice President, handling major corporate accounts.
Additionally, Craig is co-pastor of a multi-ethnic church in Chicago, Imago Dei. He serves on the Board of Directors of TOPIC (Trainers of Pastors International Coalition,) a coalition of pastoral training organizations committed to accelerating nonformal pastoral training worldwide. Craig also serves on the board of 67Pastors, a ministry creating peer groups for pastors for their encouragement and accountability.
