About David & Carrie
David came to faith as a teenager and quickly fell in love with serving the church, including local and global missions. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and immediately completed his Master of Divinity in Biblical Communication. Carrie came to faith as a youth, holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, and serves the Christian foster and adoption community. They met in high school and married while in seminary.
Through a beautifully God-orchestrated journey, Dave and Carrie have been serving and leading in a variety of ministry capacities within the church, ministry-rooted nonprofits, foster care, and missions organizations. God implanted a passion early to Serve the body of Christ to equip the body of Christ to share the Gospel of Christ. GTN's vision to train (equip) indigenous church planters and leaders to reach the majority world beautifully complements this passion as they seek to fulfill the charge of 2 Timothy 2:2:
"...what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also."
David has trained leaders domestically, in Latin America, and in Africa before joining GTN. As a GTN staff member, David has been able to train in Tanzania and Uganda. David and Carrie look forward to the future opportunities that God provides, through the prayer and support of our ministry partners, to continue training faithful men and women who will be able to teach others.
