About Ben & Candace
Ben and Candace have been married for over 25 years and first met while attending Davis College in Johnson City, New York. Ben earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministries, and Candace earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Counseling. Together they have served in ministry since the beginning of their marriage and have six children and a daughter-in-law.
Over the years, Ben and Candace have served in a variety of ministry roles, including youth ministry, worship ministry, assistant pastoral ministry, and lead pastoral ministry. Ben served on staff at Grace Baptist Church in Binghamton, New York, from 2002 to 2012 and later served as Lead Pastor of Central Baptist Church in Yorkshire, New York, for 14 years.
Their passion is helping develop and encourage Christian leaders. Through their involvement with Torchbearers International, Ben has taught at Crossroads in Albania, where he leads students through the Apostle Paul’s second missionary journey in Greece, and at Angaza in Kenya, where he teaches through the book of 1 John.
As they begin this new season with Global Training Network, Ben and Candace are eager to invest in pastors and Christian leaders around the world. They are grateful for the opportunities God has already provided and look forward to serving wherever He leads. They will be serving with their four youngest children as they enter this next chapter of ministry.
