About Norm & Joy
Norm and Joy have been involved in ministry and church planting in the Phoenix metro area for 15 years. They helped plant Valley Life Church and have since been involved in planting seven additional churches throughout the Phoenix metro area. They are currently serving with a church plant in Cottonwood, Arizona. Norm and Joy have been married for 30 years and have three children and one grandson.
Joy has a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and worked in banking for 13 years before entering ministry. She has served in ministry for the past 15 years and currently serves as the Director of Church Planting and Missions at Valley Life Church. Joy has a passion for ministry, missions, and helping churches reach their communities and make disciples.
Norm retired after more than 20 years in federal law enforcement. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a law degree. Following his retirement, Norm has continued to serve in ministry and currently serves as an elder at Valley Life Church.
Together, Norm and Joy have a passion for church planting, missions, and equipping and encouraging church leaders to participate in God’s work both locally and around the world. Their ministry has taken them throughout the Phoenix metro area and Arizona, as well as into international missions, with a particular heart for Southeast Asia and Scotland.
