About Randy & Louann
Randy and Louann joined GTN following Randy’s 2024 retirement from a software career. Beginning in 2016, they volunteered with GTN as teacher-trainers, serving on several trips in the Dominican Republic and most recently in Tanzania.
Sharing a love for God and desiring to serve Him together, Louann and Randy were married in 2002. They enjoy teaching the Word, equipping people to teach and disciple others, and mentoring young adults at their church in North Carolina, where Randy serves as an elder.
Randy retired from a 41-year career with IBM in software engineering, with a strong focus on user technology and leading teams. He has been studying and teaching the Bible since coming to Christ as a teen and loves to equip and encourage the next generation. Randy is also an avid musician, leading worship on keyboard and harmonica.
Prior to marrying Randy, Louann was on the full-time staff of CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ) for twenty-five years. She served in ministries to university students, business people, diplomats at the United Nations/ NYC, and in many short-term mission trips around the world. Louann has degrees in Education and Christian Ministry (seminary) and loves teaching and bringing the Word to life.
Randy and Louann enjoy getting to know people from different cultures and share a lifelong passion for making the Bible accessible to everyone. They embrace the Global Training Network focus of equipping and training those who will “teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2).
